Lamaze Getaway Weekend

Why try to fit a childbirth class in on a weekend and then still need to add newborn care and breast-feeding on different dates. Take a complete class, learn about the birth process, newborns, breast-feeding and what you can do to support your relationship all in one weekend, and enjoy learning in a beautiful setting.

The Getaway weekend class is the most complete class available, and the most enjoyable. Slow your life down with walks on the beach, feeding lamas and sitting on the veranda looking out at beautiful Puget Sound. The Getaway Weekend is the perfect setting to have time away before life gets busy with the addition of a new little person in your family. Couples say: "I had no idea how lovely the setting would be"; "I learned so much all in one weekend"; and "I now understand the process of birth and know what I can do to help my partner."

Relaxed atmosphere, wonderful food, good conversations and a beautiful setting all lend themselves to learning, and will make your childbirth education experience rewarding and memorable.

Lamaze Getaway Weekend Retreat

Classes are held at the Illahee Manor. The 1920's Manor House is styled after a Russian dasha "Mansion house" and sits on the shoreline of the Kitsap peninsula.

It is a place where peace and serenity reign supreme. Surrounded by the tranquility of Puget Sound the Inn keepers have created a haven to the fine art of relaxation and a perfect setting for Lamaze classes.

It is important to sign up for class early as rooms at Illahee fill quickly. Because Rosalys holds all reservations at Illahee, the weekends of the Lamaze Getaway, Illahee's web site shows all rooms are reserved. To find out which rooms are available and to make reservations for rooms and class call Rosalys at (206) 842-8059 or contact her via email.

Winter room rates apply for the Getaway Weekend class all year. Click here to view the rooms and learn more about the weekend facilities at Illahee Manor. Illahee is located in the Central Kitsap peninsula approximately 4 miles north of Bremerton. If you would like to stay elsewhere, then contact Rosalys and she can help you find a B&B or motel near by.
