PARATROOPERS of BRAZIL

The Brigada Infantaria Paraquedista (First Paratroop Infantry Brigade) is headquartered and concentrates its troops in the Military Village, in Rio De Janeiro.

Because of its tactical and strategic maneuverability, the Brigade of Infantry Parachutists is considered basic to the Brazilian Army. It is prepared to be launched behind enemy lines and to seize important objectives.

Organizationally, It is similar to the other infantry brigades, but once deployed, it can sustain itself in independent action for up to 72 hours.
