PARATROOPERS of EGYPT

Egyptian military forces include a parachute brigade and an air-mobile brigade. During a multinational exercise in 2001, twoo-hundred airborne troops from the German, French and Egyptian Armies jumped into a drop zone in Egypt.

The exercise, known as Bright Star, prepares Egyptian forces to rapidly deploy and fight along side its allies and regional partners.
